Superb Bargueño in walnut and bone resting on a very beautiful base (posterior but very well adapted) in turned wood composed of two times three legs resting on pads connected by a colonnade. All of these feet are twisted, note that the twists are opposite. In the upper part, two side boxes contain the zippers decorated with scallop shells, like all the interior fittings of the cabinet. The cabinet opens with a walnut leaf decorated with perforated wrought iron plates fixed on a red velvet (it is very rare that these velvets still remain on these pieces of furniture). It closes with a very beautiful double hasp lock. In the middle of the leaf, on the sides, two latches make it possible to keep it closed. On the upper part, two more small hooks in the corners also ensure the closure. On the middle of the sides are the hinged wrought iron carrying handles. Inside, the cabinet consists of 17 drawers and 2 doors. Four drawers at the top. In the middle two doors on the sides and five drawers between them. Below, five drawers. The two drawers located in the middle next to the doors as well as the large drawer at the bottom have a double bottom and a "secret" drawer opens at the bottom. All these drawers are decorated with inlays of bone and ebony in relief, some also have small columns, either in light wood or in bone. The pull buttons are made of wrought iron and represent scallops. The keys are there. Exceptional piece of furniture.
